SUDAN NEWS ALERT: Reuters - Sudan's Burhan casts doubt on rapid normalization of ties with Israel
Reuters reports on Sudanese condemnations of the meeting in Uganda between Abdelfattah al-Burhan and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
The Sudanese cabinet held meetings with the Forces of Freedom and Change leaders, with the latter accusing al-Burhan of breaching Sudan’s constitutional declaration.
Scores of protesters gathered outside the government headquarters, to condemn the meeting. “The betrayal that was represented in the meeting with the head of the Zionist entity, is a dagger in the heart of the Sudanese people,” said Tarek Babakr, one of the protesters.
